With
all the latest technical games, gimics and gadgets available for
children today, it's difficult to imagine the last time children of all
ages were entertained by a simple hand puppet. Well, if you could only
see the reaction from the children around our puppet stand at the craft
events we attend, you'd be amazed at the interaction, fascination and
fun displayed by the crowds of children - and as for the adults.....
In 2005 we created the first of our children's hand puppets for our 4 year old daughter. With her input and the 'trials' lead by her 2 year old sister, we now have an exciting range of both hand and full arm puppets.
At
our shows, many parents have asked us where they can see our complete
range of puppets online. Well, here it is! We've created this website
so that you, your family, and friends can choose your favourite puppet
creation.
The origins of puppets
can be traced way back to ancient Egypt, Greece and Roman times, such
is their appeal. They are still used widely today to recall myths and
legends, re-inact stories, entertain all ages and as an extension of a
personality to express emotions and humour.
All puppets meet the 'Essential Safety Requirements for Toys' in accordance with the Trading Standards Regulations SI1995 No 204.
We
